In one line : for their great lunches.
Review : I have eaten at Bagel etc. quite often and I was never disapointed. The decor is an ecclectic collection of objects and paintings but is has a 1930's feel to the place. The menu is mainly composed of a large variety of sandwiches served on a selection of breads, including bagels of course, although the breakfast menu is also popular. There's also a daily lunch special. I especially like the veggie blintzes. All dishes come with a large serving of their trademark sauteed potatoes. The service is very friendly, particularly the owner at the cash register who is only too happy to give you candy with your check.
