Monkland has become very popular over the last years, mainly because of its terrasses and new restaurants. It's success is similar to Mont-Royal ave. in the Plateau Mont-Royal district. It was, at first, a neighbourhood street but is know well known the western part of the city. It has many restaurants, bars and cool hangouts. You can take a nice stroll in the evening through the neighbourhood streets after a good meal at one of Monkland's restaurant.
