George-Etienne Cartier Historical House

If you're interested in George Etienne Cartier (one of the "father of the confederation") or the Victorian period. They present live recreation of life for the upper class during this era, including a Victorian Christmas recreation (around Christmas time of course) and a recreation of the life of their servants and their chores (with live actors, a "Upstair, Downstair" type of thing).
- April 1 to 30: Monday to Friday from 10h to 17h by appointment only (group of 10 or more)
- May 2 to June 17: Wednesday to Sunday from 10h to 17h
- 18 June to 2 September: Monday to Sunday from 10h to 17h
- September 5 to December 23: Wednesday to Sunday from 10h to 17h
- The Historic Site is closed to the public during the months of January to April. However, you can contact us, during the year, at 514 283-2282 to schedule a visit.
