Description | Neighbourhood : Chinatown Type : Year of construction : 1835 Style : Neo-Classical Best : NA
First built in 1835, it was used by the Secession Church of Scotland, then by the Sulpicians in 1868 (it was then called "Notre-Dame-des-Anges"), then by the slovakian-catholic community (1936) and finally became the chinese-catholic mission of the Saint-Esprit. It was modified considerably also through the years, it was expanded three times (a floor was added in 1847), part of the church was then demolished, the interior was stripped of its decorations and the bell tower was removed in the 40s but a new bell tower was added in 1957. The parsonage (to the left of the church) was also modified numerous times.
