In one line : good and inexpensive
Review : I just read a very negative review of this restaurant and I don't agree entirely. This Tibetan restaurant may not be authentic but it's good anyway. The menu is short but the main dishes are around $ 7-8. I tasted the beef Shapta and Momos. The Momos are steam dumplings stuffed with meat, cheese or vegetables. The Momos in this restaurant are larger than in other similar restaurants and they are more like steamed Chinese bread but they are still very good. Shapta beef was very good also, although there was a small taste of Bovril in the sauce but it was still nice. These dishes are served in large plates with compartment and are accompanied by rice, bean soup, potato curry and cabbage salad (perhaps a choice from the cook who did not look Tibetan). The dishes served in other tibetan restaurants I have visited were rather bland, but those of Café Momo was more spicy. In short, it is really good and cheap! Certainly nothing to complain about.
