Video stores

If you want to rent (or buy) a usually hard to find video, here are a couple of places where you should look :

Boite Noire : located at 4450 St-Denis just south of Mont-Royal ave., second floor, Mont-Royal metro station in the Plateau Mont-Royal district. They have a large selection of classic films, european and independant films as well as Hollywood movies. Tel.: 514-287-1249. They also have a second location, which use to be the Club vidéo Français, at 280 Lauriet street, just west of du Parc ave. Tel.: 514-277-6979.
Passeport vidéo : located at 594 avenue Champagneur corner of Bernard in Outremont, Tel.:514-270-7913, Outremont metro station then take the 160 east. They have a good selection of french and european movies as well as the classics. They also have a second location at Côte-Vertu.
PHOS Vidéo répertoire : located at 5147 Côte-des-Neiges road, Tel.: 514-738-1040. It's an other video store much like the Boite Noire but in the Côtes-des-Neiges district.
