Emergencies and health

The 911 emergency phone number covers fire, police and medical emergencies (ambulances). If you had you car (or anything else) stolen, don't call 911 or even the local station, they won't come to fill out a report, you have to go to a station to fill it out yourself. There are two police stations downtown: PDQ 20, located at 1432 St-Catherine St. W., and PDQ 21, located at 1180 Sainte-Élisabeth St. To get the address of the nearest police station, call 514-280-2222 or visit the SPVM 's web site.

The 411 information service is also available if you are looking for a phone number (a fee could be charged to use it).
