Buildings, monuments and public spaces

Montreal's buildings and monuments cover 300 years of history and architecture. The oldest building still standing is the St-Sulpice seminary (1685) to the east of the Notre-Dame basilica and the newest building is the Caisse de placement et de dépôt building (2004) next to the Palais des congrès and the UQAM's science pavillions on Sherbrooke street (Place-des-Arts metro station).

As you will notice, the section is under construction but new buildings, parks, and churches will be added every month. This category is divided in two sections :

Buildings, monuments and public spaces by type
Buildings, monuments and public spaces by district
Interesting web sites, the best web sites on Montreal's architecture
