Not to be missed (South-west of Montreal)

  • Notre-Dame antique shop street, if you like antiques shops, there about 30 of them on that street between Guy and Atwater. (Lionel-Groulx metro station).

  • The Atwater outdoor vegetable/fruits markets. In the summer, there is an outdoor market that sell fresh vegetable, fruits and other produce. It is still in operation during the winter season, but only the indoor shops are opened. It is located on the corner of Notre-Dame street west and Atwater (a few steps from the Lionel-Groulx metro station).

  • Lachine canal, there's an 11 kilometre long bikepath that runs along the canal (it's a cross-country ski trail in the winter). There's also a outdoor sculpture garden along the path. To get there, look for Mill street under the Bonaventure highway (Charlevoix metro station).
