Municipal elections are fast approaching, Sunday, November 1, 2009 to be more precise. There are elections, amongst other municipalities, in the Ville de Montreal, Ville de Longueuil and Ville de Laval.

General Information
The official website for the Ville de Montreal's elections is www.election-montreal.qc.ca. You will find information on the electoral list and the jobs available for the elections. You can also follow them on Twitter : @election_MTL.
You can see this complete list of municipalities with elections and this list of all candidates (full list available on October 2) on the government of Quebec's special site on the elections of the Ministère des affaires municipales et Régions et Occupation du territoire. You can also find information on the steps to apply as a candidate. That deadline is October 2.
