In one line : impressing but decor is very tired...
Review : I passed this restaurant a few times while visiting Verdun but it is only after reading a few reviews on the internet that I realized it was worth the detour. The first impression is somewhat negative, the floor is crooked in places, the carpet is stained and the walls need to be partially repainted but is clean enough (little anecdote, but when I was washing my hands in the small skin in the rear of the restaurant, the cold water handle came off). Everything in the restaurant is written in Chinese except the menu which is in French, English and Chinese. I had heard about the lamb and noodle soup (apparently it's a difficult dish to find in North America). At $ 6.99 for the "small" bowl is big enough for a lunch or even dinner. This soup contains large noodles (at least an inch wide) which are handmade (the owner said that it's a lot of work but that chinese people didn't like machine made noodles), small transparent noodles, boc choy and other herbs, diced lamb and goji berries (I had to ask the owner what they were, I did not know these berries). The berries gave a wonderful touch of color. The taste of lamb broth was rich and the lamb was very tasty. It was like discovering a new cuisine. And it really fills you up. It's the only dish I tried, so I have to go back with pleasure.
