En une phrase : considered to be the best restaurant in the city.
Critique : This restaurant was voted one of the best restaurants in Montreal (if someone else is paying) year after year in various polls. You wouldn't know it from it ordinary exterior but it also has an international reputation for its innovative cuisine and presentation. The type of cuisine served there is usually described as french but it is more like fusion cuisine, a mix of different influences from Europe, Asia and North America. They also pay extra attention to the presentation, the food actually looks like sculptures. But it is expensive, they don't even show the prices on the table d'hôte displayed outside its door. I know someone who went there and paid $300 for a menu that included a selection of various dishes and wines... so if price is not an option, this is the place to go.
