In one line : Poor quality.
Review : Went today for brunch July 28, 2013. Yes very salty, food was burned, and flies seemed to be the costumers. The server was over worked, poor guy, although, he was very polite. I would not recommend this place to any one. I am pleased that I did not bring other guests with me, only my room mate and I went. Please remember , if you have salt on the table, you DO NOT need to dredge the food with it.

In one line : Good and generous but very salty and expensive
Review : This Louisiana-inspired restaurant is certainly not authentic but the menu is interesting. I tasted two dishes that were on the evening's menu (chef's choice). They also have a permanent menu offering burgers and sandwiches (see website). The dishes sampled were the alligator "fingers" (more than $23) and pheasant sausages (about $15). The strips of alligator (which was alligator and not chicken) were fried and came with a very good mustard sauce and excellent fries and vegetables. But the whole was extremely salty. The pheasant sausages served with a mushroom sauce were also good but again, too salty. I think that the table d'hote was suppose to come with soup, but only the main dishes were served (the portions were generous enough anyway). They also have cheap beers ($ 3.75 for a bottle of Boreal). The service was very nice but very slow and uneven (the other server seemed too busy listening to the hockey game and I was told that there were many people on the terrace - although I have not seen that terrace). By the way, the door for the toilet could not lock, I saw several people getting interrupted.
