La Ronde

Description
Neighbourhood : Ste-Helene and Notre-Dame Islands
Type : Amusement park
Season : Summer
Best : Yes

The La Ronde amusement park is 30 years old and was built for Expo '67. It's a fairly large amusement park, maybe not as large as other american or european amusement park, but it has a good variety of rides (they usually add a new one every year) and a popular rollercoaster (you can check out Rollercoaster.com's review and fact sheet on La Ronde's rollercoasters and rides. There's a special section for small children, a multi-media show on the lake every night, a Nitendo arcade, a couple of restaurants and taverns, everything you would expect from an amusement park. You can also read CityVu's description of La Ronde.
