Bicycle pathsType : Sport Montreal has one of the most extensive network of cycling paths in north america. You can tour the whole island along the river side or cycle through the city. The most interesting paths are on Gouin boulevard, the Plateau Mont-Royal section, on de Maisonneuve street west through Westmount and along the Lachine Canal. There is a complete map and guide of the different paths available in different librairies or at the Velo-Quebec offices (the bicycling HQ on Rachel street east near Lafontaine park).
