Canadian Centre for Architecture

(Arts)

There are temporary exhibitions on all aspects of architecture and urban planning. The building itself is worth the visit since it's an addition to the historic Shaughnessy house, and don't forget to visit its winter garden. The bookshop is also very interesting if you are looking for anything on architecture and design. There's also a sculpture garden in front of the center (on the south side of Rene-Levesque blvd.) with various works including a partial replica of the Shaughnessy house, it also has a nice view of part of Montreal's south-west district.

Provision has been made for wheelchair access to the Museum and Bookstore. Limited parking is available on the premises.

Visitors who are interested in knowing more about the CCA building, Shaughnessy House, the CCA Garden and the current exhibitions are invited to join regular one-hour Guided Tours, which are included in individual admission charges.

Please visit the web site to see the schedule and fees.
